The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Acceleration Program is an exciting, entry-level opportunity designed to fast-track you into a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our promote-from-within culture, you will be poised to advance to an Assistant Store Manager position following the successful completion of an intensive 8-week training program.
This role entails a typical schedule of 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends. During your time in the program, you will collaborate closely with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing valuable leadership and strategic insights. You will learn about all operational aspects, client interactions, and internal strategies, enabling you to understand the vital contribution you can make to our team’s success.
You will work towards growing our market share by engaging with large, commercial users, such as painting contractors and purchasing agents, who require significant volumes of our high-quality products.

This position involves customer interactions, including minors, and may grant access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, and merchandise, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Therefore, we require a review of criminal history to ensure the safety and security of our operations, customers, staff, and the general public.

0-10 paid holidays per calendar year, including 1 floating holiday.
3-13 paid vacation days in your first year, prorated based on your hire date, including a minimum of 3 frontloaded flex days for unplanned absences, like sick days.
If you work in the state of Washington, you will accrue paid sick leave at a rate of 1 hour per 40 hours worked (or 1 hour per 30 hours worked if located in Seattle).
4 weeks of paid Military leave for service-related absences.
5 days of paid Bereavement Leave for immediate family losses and 3 days for other family members.
Paid Parental Leave after the birth, adoption, or placement of a foster child following one year of employment.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for an employment work visa now or in the future.
Must hold a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
Must possess a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
Experience in a leadership role, supervising others or leading teams.
Previous work in a team setting, including work experience, extracurricular activities, or military service.
Prior work selling paint and paint-related products.
Experience with timekeeping or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
Ability to communicate in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
