Join the Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Leadership Training Program, an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to equip you with the skills necessary for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. Experience our promote-from-within culture, which will enable you to advance to an Assistant Store Manager position after successfully completing the initial 6-8 weeks of training. This program involves a typical schedule of 44 hours per week, including evenings and/or weekends. As a participant, you'll work alongside store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing valuable leadership and insights into store development and strategies. You'll learn about operations, client engagement, and internal strategies, preparing you for a key role in the team's success. Your efforts will focus on growing market share through sales to significant commercial users, including painting contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers. Support business strategies to boost sales and profitability. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through excellent service. Build and maintain extensive product knowledge to make effective recommendations. Develop strong relationships with both wholesale and retail customers. Handle store administration efficiently. Ensure compliance with policies related to safety, loss prevention, and security. Uphold outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards. Assist in employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actions. Address and resolve our customer and/or employee concerns promptly. Collaborate with the Store Manager to conduct outside sales calls to enhance market share. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship for employment Visa status. Valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Bachelor's degree required by start of the program. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service roles. One year of experience in leadership roles, supervising or leading teams. Background in team-oriented environments through work, extracurriculars, or military service. Experience in selling paint and related products. Familiarity with timekeeping or customer relationship management systems. Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities. Proficiency in more than one language, particularly Spanish, is a plus.
