Essential Duties/Responsibilities
:
Work with sales to analyze and present to customer/brokers on a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant products and tools to meet client objectives
Deliver market intelligence and interpretation to internal customers for the purpose of strategy building, trend awareness and arming others with information to communicate in the market
Advocate and educate sales and internal stakeholders on complex commodity and non-commodity offer
Contribute to the development of strategies and product offerings within Sales and support groups
Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans, and profit targets
Travel (up to 50%) to key customer and partner sites to represent commodity and non-commodity strategy and results to senior management
Working Conditions:
Open office environment.
Sensory attention: Continual need to give concentrated attention where multiple stimuli are changing quickly and where 2 or more senses – hearing, seeing, touching, and tasking – must be used in coordination.
Mental stress: Continuous occurrence of strong demand for results and multiple simultaneous demands requiring decisions
Travel – up to 25%
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required. Concentration in engineering, economics, mathematics, or specific energy market analysis-related experience
3 or more years related to industry experience
Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to regularly interact with internal and external senior management
Able to create and articulate customer procurement strategies using effective rationale for recommendation and decisions
Proficient with computer spreadsheet and database applications
Strong understanding of the wholesale and retail energy markets
Ability to understand, create, and modify effective market and business strategies
Skilled in business analysis and identifying market potential for significant business growth
Excellent quantitative skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and deadline orientation
Commitment to work with a sense of urgency
The ability to work as a team player
Be proactive and creative in solving problems

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred
Holds Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEP) or Certified Energy Management (CEM) Designation
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is occasional opportunity to move about
