Come be a part of our established company that continues to find ways to innovate and grow! The Accountant responsibilities cover a wide variety of tasks. They will be highly involved in the review and analysis of cost data and maintaining records for inventory and cost accounting. The Accountant will work on fixed assets around vendor management, tracking, and depreciating. The role will also focus on new state tax requirements, setup, and reporting and credit card reconciliation. They will need to be computer and software proficient as well as a quick learner and a flexible team member. If this sounds like you, keep reading for more details! Key Responsibilities: Lead the maintenance of the standard cost systems, policies, and procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting of projects, inventory, and cost of goods sold. Managing state tax setup, reporting, and analysis for new and existing states. Tracks and reviews all fixed asset records and records depreciation, plus manages asset vendor relationships. Performs standard accounting and analysis related functions along with cost accounting related duties. Manage project status milestone invoices and communicate with sales teams on project completion. Credit card statement reconciliation as part of overall credit card management. Backup support for AR/AP functions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an Accounting focus. Minimum 2-4 years' experience. Experience with NetSuite a plus. Advanced reporting and Excel skills. Understanding and working knowledge of GAAP. Efficient, organized, detail oriented, and able to complete tasks in a time sensitive manner.
