Position Overview
Anchorage Daily News and Elevate Digital are seeking a driven, experienced Advertising Sales
Manager to help lead our sales efforts and grow revenue across our full portfolio of
advertising solutions.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role will lead and mentor a results-driven sales team while
overseeing the sales strategy for all of our digital products and platforms—adn.com and
Elevate Alaska—as well as integrated campaigns that combine print, events, and other media
opportunities. This position will also manage relationships with our digital vendors to ensure
our product offerings remain competitive, innovative, and effective.
You’ll play a key role in developing and executing strategies that deliver measurable results
for our clients while driving sustainable revenue growth for our organization. Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to exceed ambitious sales targets, and drive
consistent revenue growth
Lead digital growth initiatives and oversee vendor and partner relationships.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, and community
partners.
Oversee the full sales process—from prospecting to closing—to ensure exceptional
client experiences.
Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to
keep our solutions competitive.
Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operations teams to deliver innovative,
results-driven advertising solutions.
Qualifications
3+ years of proven ability to drive team performance through clear expectations,
accountability measures, and direct coaching to improve results.
Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, including display,
programmatic, social, and video.
Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful sales
plans.
Comfortable analyzing data to guide decisions and optimize campaigns.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
