Business Consultant / Sales Manager , where you'll play a vital role in
helping new and existing agency owners successfully launch, establish,
and grow their businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated,
business-minded professional who is passionate about coaching entrepreneurs ,
guiding new agencies through their foundational stages, and setting them up for
long-term success.
As an A gency Business Consultant (ABC) , you will act
as a strategic partner and onboarding coach , working hands-on with new and
existing agency owners to build the core elements of a successful insurance
agency—from business planning and marketing strategies to team development and
sales processes. Your role is to equip new agents with the tools, skills,
and support they need to thrive, while fostering strong relationships and
accountability from day one.
Coach
and support new and existing agency owners through the early stages of
agency development, helping them build a strong business foundation.
Conduct
regular onboarding consultations and progress reviews to assess
development milestones, identify gaps, and implement action plans for
growth.
Guide
new and existing agents in developing and executing business plans,
including lead generation strategies, marketing initiatives, sales
processes, and customer retention systems.
Assist
agency owners with recruiting, onboarding, and training their team
members to ensure operational readiness and productivity.
Build
and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with agency owners,
providing consistent guidance and accountability as they grow their
business.
Monitor
performance metrics and track progress against defined benchmarks,
offering coaching and resources to help agents stay on track.
Stay
current on industry trends, product updates, and Farmers programs
to provide accurate, timely, and relevant support.
Serve
as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor , helping agencies
establish strong operations, generate revenue, and deliver exceptional
customer experiences.
Proven
experience in sales, account management, business coaching, or agency
development/management.
Strong
goal-oriented mindset with the ability to develop and execute
strategic growth and development plans.
Excellent
interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability
to analyze business performance data and identify actionable
opportunities for improvement.
Highly
o rganized and self-motivate d, with the ability to manage multiple
priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
Property
& Casualty Producer license required (not Personal Lines Only) .
Life
& Health license preferred .
