Overview
The Area Sales Manager will partner with Automobile Dealerships in specifically defined areas. This position is responsible for consulting with each dealership on how to achieve its operational objectives. The Area Sales Manager is responsible for product presentations, building & maintaining lasting relationships with corporate leaders and business owners. Additional responsibilities include monitoring dealership productivity and performance by working with our experienced team of underwriters and management team. Must reside in these specific markets: Charlotte, NC - Tampa, FL - Nashville, TN - Dallas, TX - Northern, VA/ Herndon, VA
Responsibilities
Establish and manage relationships with decision makers at each designated dealership in a selected market Work with underwriting and processing Teams to provide excellent service and customer loyalty Be driven to exceed performance goals while providing best-in-class service to form long-lasting partnerships Create and execute a monthly plan of dealer engagement based on internal/external analysis of available data and sales metrics (Monitor production, efficiencies, performance and dealership visits) Sales calls to potential new dealership sign-ups and maintenance calls to existing dealerships are big part of growth in each specific market territory (Specific market performance is based on the market the Area Sales Manager is responsible for) Assure compliance and regulatory standards Minimum production and performance expectations will be determined by analysis and internal/external data for goals and expectations for each market Perform other essential job functions as required or assigned Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) #NWFCU1
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive Indirect Lending Sales/Finance industry Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong sales skills Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership abilities to effectively communicate and interact within the Credit Union Ability to resolve problems, sometimes requiring data analysis and weighing the outcome with Management and the Underwriter Build and expand relationships with existing Automobile Dealerships and adding new Dealerships to our customer base Must reside in: Charlotte, NC - Tampa, FL - Nashville, TN - Dallas, TX - Northern, VA/ Herndon, VA

Base compensation for this role ranges from $78,750 - $106,325 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
