About the Role As an Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager, you will be essential in supporting the General Manager in the daily operations that drive our restaurant's success. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager and team members to foster a positive working environment while ensuring food safety and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in developing and inspiring a motivated team. Recruit and train exceptional talent for our restaurant. Support the General Manager in meeting operational goals and budget targets. Maintain clear communication regarding team achievements, priorities, and updates on operational policies. Exhibit effective floor management by optimizing team deployment for maximum efficiency. Promote restaurant sales and service efficiency by addressing operational challenges. Oversee inventory management and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with shelf life and product guidelines. Commit to continuous training in kitchen and dining operations to uphold our standards. Manage Food Safety and Team Member Safety Ensure consistent adherence to food safety and security standards. Provide Outstanding Customer Service Guarantee all team members deliver top-notch customer service. The Experience You Have Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience in a high-volume Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full-service environment. Proven ability to effectively manage and develop teams of 15+ members. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic setting. Strong attention to detail with a focus on operational efficiency. Professional demeanor with adherence to policies and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborative team player. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for a full shift while working. Availability for night and weekend shifts. Current Food Handlers Certification is required. *These qualifications also serve as criteria for our Automated Employment Decision Tool (AEDT).
