Responsibilities – Assistant Sales Manager:
- Sales Management & Leadership:
- Assist in managing the sales departments daily operations and ensure goals and KPIs are met.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates to improve their sales skills and achieve sales targets.
- Business office operations:
- Produce acceptable levels of revenue and profits for the dealership by selling finance, insurance, and extended service programs to new and used motorcycle customers.
- Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure all customers receive an exceptional Harley-Davidson experience and promote the dealership as the best place to buy motorcycles, parts, and accessories.
- Oversee follow-up procedures to maintain a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Process Optimization:
- Implement dealership sales processes 
- Support the Sales Manager in refining sales scripts, word tracks, and negotiation tactics to maximize closing rates.
- Ensure every lead is worked and every customer interaction is effectively managed for optimal conversion.
- Inventory & Promotions:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for customer demand.
- Assist in planning and executing sales promotions and events, contribute creative ideas to increase sales and foot traffic.
- Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track team performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Assist in setting sales goals and strategies based on data analysis and industry benchmarks.
- Team Development & Training:
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Foster a team-oriented environment, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring open communication.
- Operational Support:
- Assist the Sales Manager with administrative tasks, scheduling, inventory checks, and report generation.
- Resolve customer issues promptly 
Qualifications - Assistant Sales Manager:
- At least 3 years in a sales leadership role (with finance experience), preferably with the motorcycle or automotive industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Proven ability to motivate a sales team and increase sales.
- Motorcycle enthusiast
- Results-driven and focused on achieving sales targets.
- Excellent organizational skills and pays attention to details
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Maintain an enthusiastic and positive attitude!
