Tasks and responsibilities include monitoring and managing daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment, leading by example in all company operations, maintaining a professional and impeccably clean salon environment, establishing clear goals and objectives for team members, providing coaching, training, and feedback to improve team members' daily performance, generating sales reports, maintaining inventory, and assisting with other salon director functions. Additionally, the assistant salon director will assist the salon director in controlling top line revenue and expenses and be able to work nights and weekends. Experience preferred includes college education, management and/or sales experience, effective communication at all levels, and skilled trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment, lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes, and perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
