Responsibilities:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals
Use consultative selling techniques to understand customer needs and guide them in selecting the right vehicle
Continuously expand product knowledge and sales expertise, staying informed on vehicle features, optional packages, and the latest technologies
Conduct professional and engaging demonstrations of new and used vehicles to highlight key features and benefits
Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage future referrals
Master objection-handling techniques to navigate sales challenges and maximize success in various situations
Report to the Sales Manager on progress towards sales objectives, planned activities, and performance analysis
Bring a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic to every sales interaction
Perform other duties as assigned to support the dealership’s goals and operations
Qualifications:
Previous Sales Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in retail or automotive sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and explain product features clearly and persuasively
Customer-Centric Attitude: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering personalized service to meet their unique needs
Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle features, specifications, and market trends; willingness to continuously learn about new products and technologies
Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to guide customers through the sales process and close deals in a professional and effective manner
Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to handle customer objections and resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, online sales tools, and other technology to manage customer relationships and track sales activities
Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a team environment to achieve dealership goals
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexible and Adaptable: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet customer needs
Pre-Employment Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and background check
Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
