Job Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new vendor relationships for Bison Payments. This role focuses on identifying and opening doors with high volumes of potential vendor partners—such as rental companies, material suppliers, equipment shops, and oil & gas service providers—who can benefit from Bison's payment solutions. The Sales Representative plays a key role in introducing our offerings to the vendor market and supporting the sales pipeline by initiating warm leads and partnership opportunities. Duties Proactively identify and engage with vendors (e.g., rental companies, supply houses, equipment shops, oil & gas service providers) who would benefit from our payment solutions Maintain and develop a strong pipeline of vendor relationships through outbound sales, networking, and referrals Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings to schedule introductions and product demos with qualified vendors Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads Maintain CRM records and provide regular reports on outreach, pipeline development, and lead quality Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate new vendor connections Other duties as assigned Experience 5+ years of sales experience working directly with or selling to other vendors in Oil and Gas industry including service companies, equipment rental, industrial supply, or construction Proven ability to manage a high volume of vendor relationships and outreach activity on a monthly basis Strong track record of opening new business opportunities and making introductions that lead to revenue growth Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently and hit outreach targets Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage and track leads Familiarity with B2B payment services or financial products is a plus, but not required Oil and Gas background is required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80, $100,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Travel reimbursement Vision insurance Work from home Work Location: Remote
