Purpose Join our team of sales professionals with a focus on our top-of-the-line products: Cobalt, Malibu, Axis, Everglades, Berkshire, Premier, and Balise.  Our team sets the industry standard for customer experience, and we're seeking individuals with a proven sales and closing track record to contribute to our success. Our mission is to provide the ultimate boating experience to our customers, and it starts with you!   Skills we’re seeking ·        Passion for boats! ·        Eager to grow and boat sales and market share. ·        Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor. ·        Previous experience with non-retail sales, customer service, and a customer-centric approach. ·        Effective communication skills through phone, text, email, and video with a focus on maintaining meticulous notes and organization in the CRM. ·        Boat Experience required: o  Proven experience in driving trucks and towing boats. o  Proficient in launching and operating boats, demonstrating a strong understanding of boating safety. o  Flexibility in scheduling boat demonstrations and events depending on customer needs and events. o  Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate boat features during on-water demonstrations.   What the job entails ·        Selling Cobalt, Everglades, Premier, Berkshire, Balise, Axis, and Malibu boats. ·        Grow boat sales and market share. ·        Develop, implement, & execute plans targeting market opportunities to grow boat sales. ·        Measure results & make changes as necessary to improve boat sales. ·        Develop long-lasting relationships with all Gordy’s customers. ·        Continually grow repeat and referral business. ·        Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.   What You Will Do ·        Have regular daily communication with Sales Director, General Manager and F&I Manager(s) to help facilitate boat sales. ·        Attend weekly sales meetings to stay current with all sales activity (sold follow-up, leads, deals in progress, etc). ·        Use the CRM effectively to consistently track all sold follow-up, deals in progress and prospecting to maximize opportunities. ·        Maintain customer relationships ·        Staying connected with leads via their preferred means of communication ·        Plan, organize, and execute all boat sales events and boat shows with the sales team ·        Organize and move all boat sales inventory as needed (on water, boat shows, showrooms, service, etc.) ·        Maintain all sales inventory to ensure it is presentable to customers at all times – including uncovering/covering, cleaning, fueling, etc. ·        Attend manufacturer & training seminars including other dealership visits. ·        Provide an exceptional buying experience for our valued customers. ·        Exceed sales performance goals. ·        Become an expert on all our product lines. ·        Maintain an accurate customer lead list and record interactions in the CRM. ·        Conduct on-water demos, test drives, and transport/tow boats on the highway. ·        Attend further education; paid training available within our vendor network.   Key Skills for Sales Positions ·        Communication: Effectively communicating product benefits and value to customers. ·        Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients. ·        Sales Negotiation: Closing deals and negotiating terms with customers. ·        Problem-Solving: Addressing customer objections and finding solutions. ·        Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of the products or services being sold. ·        Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively. ·        Resilience: Overcoming challenges and setbacks in the sales process.      Who We Are?
