Summary/Objective:
Are you interested in understanding what makes a business work? In this role, you will report to the COO while working extensively with the CEO and the rest of the senior team and our private equity owners to solve critical business issues and implement actionable solutions. While focused on sales, this role will work with all aspects of the business (operations, HR etc.) giving exposure to multiple functional areas within the business.
We're looking for a highly analytical and process-oriented Business Analyst to optimize our sales productivity and drive key sales initiatives. Initially this person will focus on the effective use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Over time, you will work in all aspects of sales, both at corporate and in partnership with our nationwide group of showrooms. In this role, you'll be instrumental in translating data into actionable insights, ensuring our sales team operates at peak efficiency, and contributing directly to our revenue growth.
This position requires a deep understanding of the sales lifecycle, strong analytical skills, and the ability to leverage CRM data to identify opportunities for improvement and enforce best practices. You'll work closely with sales leadership and individual contributors to enhance sales processes, track critical metrics, and contribute to the success of major sales campaigns.
Essential Functions:
Sales Performance Analysis (40%):
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in sales process / performance.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales productivity, including win/loss ratios, number of customer visits managed through CRM, and lead conversion rates.
Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance and CRM effectiveness to sales leadership.
CRM Optimization & Enforcement (30%):
Drive the enforcement of CRM lead follow-up protocols and ensure timely lead closure.
Serve as the subject matter expert for our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) from a sales productivity perspective.
Monitor CRM usage to identify gaps and provide targeted training or process adjustments.
Sales Initiative Coordination (20%):
Utilize CRM to track the progress of sales initiatives, measure their impact, and ensure alignment with goals.
Collaborate with sales leadership to define, plan, and execute major sales initiatives.
Identify and implement best practices for sales processes, leveraging CRM functionalities to streamline workflows.
Act as a liaison between sales and other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Process Improvement (10%):
Identify inefficiencies in the sales process and propose solutions leveraging CRM capabilities.
Develop and document sales best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to CRM usage.
Provide training and support to the sales team on CRM functionalities and sales process enhancements.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree required
Preferred 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Sales Operations, or similar analytical role, with a strong focus on sales productivity.
Strong analytical candidates directly out of college are encouraged to apply.
Proven expertise with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) including reporting, dashboard creation, and process enforcement is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
Excellent understanding of the sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close, and post-sales activities.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with sales teams and present findings to leadership.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
