Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Sales Cashier for our power tool store Knowledge of power tools is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Assist in merchandising efforts by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked and well-presented. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and promote sales. Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling, including balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area as well as the store environment. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse customers is essential. Strong basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
