The Clinical Sales Director has the responsibility for achieving sales performance targets in their sales in addition to cross-functionally collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.  This position is also responsible for training, implementing sales/business strategies, providing competitive feedback, and managing customer relationships and satisfaction relative to sales activities.
This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams during brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas that improve offerings with research on external and emerging market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide insights that inform strategic decisions. Responsibilities:
Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives Has larger picture in mind, strategy and execution across a team Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses Implements approved distribution strategies Manages multiple channel-selling strategies Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives Implements the Sales Management Processes, to include the strict use of CRM Ensures consistent, timely, and successful execution of sales reporting metrics, strategies and growth objectives Efficiently and effectively manages the teams sales activities which move potential clients through the Sales continuum of lead generation, cold-calling if need be, initial use and onboarding, repeat usage, to client status Develops relationships within key opinion leaders within accounts and helps build a network of advocates Fosters harmonious sales teams within organization and throughout Eurofins sister companies to deliver the best possible service to customers and drive revenue growth Effectively delivers formal sales presentations to new and existing customers, patients and other potential advocates Understands the basic requirements associated with Electronics Medical Record interfaces and works with internal team to implement conductivity solutions in new/existing customers Utilizes strong network of contacts both inside and outside the company Represents the department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all times Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business administration, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
At least 10 years of sales experience; proven success in laboratory services, diagnostics business, or medical device. Experience in kidney disease highly preferred In-depth knowledge of laboratory services or diagnostics business desired Comprehensive knowledge of current U.S. healthcare trends that can be integrated into sales strategies Firm understanding of budget and fiscal responsibility Capable of learning, retaining, and effectively communicating technical material Ability to make independent decisions regarding matters of significance Proven superior problem-solving abilities Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization Excellent verbal & written communication skills; ability to present to groups of all sizes Keenly attentive to detail Ability to keep sensitive information confidential High level of proficiency with PC based software programs, specifically Microsoft Excel Willingness to work outside normal business hours, as needed Compensation:
