Job Summary
The Community Marketing Agent serves as a brand ambassador for Margaritaville Vacation Club , representing Wyndham Destinations at popular local attractions such as malls, theme parks, and special events including trade shows, festivals, and conferences. In this sales-focused role, you will engage in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers, share the benefits of the Margaritaville vacation ownership experience, and invite qualified guests to attend our award-winning presentations.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Margaritaville Vacation Club.
Greet, present to, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour.
Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
Schedule sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits.
Additional Responsibilities
Consistently meet or exceed minimum performance goals while adhering to company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements (80% of time).
Attend scheduled training sessions and department meetings, stay current on marketing materials and industry trends, and regularly review personal performance goals (20% of time).
Travel Requirements
No travel required outside the home site’s area.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 1–3 years of sales and/or marketing experience preferred, but not required.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer/smart device use.
Must meet or exceed production standards.
Training Requirements
No prior training required – all necessary training will be provided.
