Commercial Sales Designer – DH: Commercial Sales

We’re partnering with our client, a leader in the custom cabinetry industry, to find an enthusiastic and driven Commercial Sales Designer . This is your chance to bring your AutoCAD expertise, blueprint mastery, and construction estimating know-how to a role where relationship building meets creative problem-solving. This company designs and builds cabinets from scratch, tailored per order, delivering unique solutions for every project.

Location & Schedule: You’ll cover a sales territory across Wisconsin, with occasional trips to Minnesota and Northern Iowa. Work Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Fridays, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM—enjoy your weekends unless a customer requests otherwise.

Compensation: A base salary of $70,000 plus commission will reward your skill and results.

What You’ll Do: As a Commercial Sales Designer , you’ll be the go-to connection between clients’ visions and our clients’ custom cabinetry solutions. You’ll hunt for new business opportunities, visit job sites to take precise measurements, interpret blueprints, prepare proposals, and maintain lasting client relationships. You’ll be out in the field and behind the screen, making sure every project detail is spot-on from design concept to installation.

What You Bring: You’re fluent in AutoCAD and blueprint interpretation. You have strong Microsoft Office skills, know your way around construction processes, and can confidently use a tape measure without breaking a sweat. You’re personable, self-motivated, and unafraid to handle customer pushback while keeping the conversation productive. Travel within the territory is part of the adventure.
