CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER | GANA-A'YOO, LLC Type of Position: Full-Time, Regular Tier: I Location: Capital Region Schedule: TBD FLSA Classification: Exempt Reports to: General Manager JOB OVERVIEW Gana-A'Yoo, Limited (GYL) is seeking a Construction Estimator/Project Manager to join our team working in the Capital Region. The Construction Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for various financial functions such as costing, estimating, budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis. This position will focus on estimating costs for projects in government contracting including construction, scientific staffing, administrative staffing, and environmental projects. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Participate in scoping sessions with clients and produce detailed estimates and technical narratives for negotiations to secure contracts. Adapt to various estimating templates, including MS Excel and packaged software like e4Clicks/RS Means. Produce subcontractor bid packages, select subcontractors based on value, and oversee subcontractor activities. Review subcontractor material, submittals, shop drawings, and ensure construction compliance. Create production reports, schedules, progress reports, and manage multiple projects effectively. Coordinate with federal government clients to ensure project success and satisfaction. Manage construction contracts with sound judgment and authority. Maintain up-to-date red line (as-builts) drawings in the field. Participate in the safety program and perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Four-year degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction or Science, or extensive relevant experience. 10 years of experience in engineering, construction, or related fields with emphasis on project management and estimating. Experience with Design/Build projects is a plus. Experience working on federal projects is required. Proficiency with estimating, cost control, and scheduling software. Understanding of construction methods, techniques, materials, and sequencing. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to client satisfaction. Ability to pass background and drug screening.
