A Counter Sales Rep at NorthEast Electrical is the ideal position for a person who has a passion for taking care of customers. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will provide retail and professional customers with a high level of customer service; as well as maintaining the appearance of the store and ensuring it is displayed in a clean and organized manner.
What a typical day looks like in this role:
- Taking orders over the phone, in person, and via our Digital Tools.
- Entering stock, special, direct, and back orders as required.
- Providing customers with information and demonstration of our online solution for fast and easy ordering through our website.
- Providing support to the Branch Manager in the transferring, warehousing, receiving, and shipping of stock and special material.
- Display and stock material in counter and show room. Participate in promotions as they occur.
- Performing other duties as required or directed by Manager.
What we are looking for you to bring us:
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel and Website navigation.
- Strong customer service/communication skills, electrical or construction is helpful.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes.
- Dependable and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work in a team setting
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75lbs using manual and PIT Equipment.
