Hiring: Counter Sales – HVAC & Plumbing Supply

Job Type : Full-time (40 hours), 7 am -5 pm,

Pay Rate : $20-22 per hour, + Commission paid monthly

Position Overview We’re looking for an energetic Counter Salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers find the perfect solution. In this role, you’ll assist walk-in and phone-in customers, promote our stocked products, and use your product knowledge to upsell and cross-sell for maximum customer satisfaction and sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers in selecting HVAC and plumbing products that meet their needs.

Recommend complementary items and promote stocked brands.

Educate customers on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked counter area and displays.

Process orders accurately and efficiently using company systems.

Follow up on open orders to ensure customer satisfaction.

Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends.

Qualifications

2+ years of counter sales or customer service experience in HVAC, plumbing, irrigation or fire suppression with wholesale distribution.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per day.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn company software quickly.
