Job Summary: Customer Service
Respond to customer telephone inquiries, provide prompt and courteous customer service. Problem-solve with customers and serve as a point of contact for customer issues within the company. Demonstrate the organization's core values of professionalism, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Functions/Responsibility: Assist customers with quotes and inquiries on availability of inventory Follow up with customers in outstanding quotes Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers and vendors Protect customer information in accordance with privacy laws Respond and manage difficult customer situations in a professional manner Input accurate customer data into database system Assist with shipping of customers' orders Communicate with Manager and Supervisor on customers concerns Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations Requirements
Education & Skills: Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license Must have a High School diploma or GED Customer service background (preferred but not required) Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, computer software & internet proficiency Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and management Capability to work independently with strong attention to detail Ability to work on a fast pace environment Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks Work Environment & Culture Skills: Experience in Shipping and Receiving Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency Candidate must be able to read, understand, and write English Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to manage and be managed Candidate must be reliable, punctual, and flexible Candidate must be able to multi-task, respect, and maintain confidentiality Candidate must be ethical and trustworthy with sensitive information Candidate must be service oriented and able to work at a fast pace and handle stress and problematic issues well with a good attitude Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment Candidate must be respectful of diverse populations and cultures Candidate must have an outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships Education / Requirements: Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED A valid unrestricted driver's license, clean driving record Experience in packaging parts shipments Physical Requirements:
