Position Overview
Are you a master architect of showstopping events, passionate about sophistication, aesthetics, and seamless execution? Do you thrive on creating memorable experiences that delight discerning audiences across a wide array of industries? Cure invites you to use your expertise in high-touch, luxury events to set the gold standard for gatherings—spanning corporate, social, innovation, non-profit, and special occasions.
As Director of Experiential Events & Sales, you will lead Cure's dynamic events team, drive operational excellence, and spearhead business development strategies. Reporting to the SVP of Stakeholder Engagement, you'll manage and elevate a high-performing group, implement efficient workflows, nurture strategic vendor partnerships, and expand event offerings across diverse sectors. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional, impactful experiences aligned with Cure's broader mission.
Key Responsibilities
Vision & Leadership
· Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented events team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and peak performance.
· Champion an elevated service culture grounded in meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled guest journey design.
· Provide on-site leadership and operational support, proactively troubleshooting to ensure flawless event execution.
· Represent Cure as a brand ambassador among partners, stakeholders, and high-profile guests from various industries.
Event Planning & Execution
· Oversee the creative direction, design, and seamless delivery of a diverse event portfolio—corporate galas, brand activations, summits, social celebrations, non-profit fundraisers, and VIP experiences.
· Curate immersive atmospheres and bespoke experiences, where every detail—from thematic concept to sensory elements—reflects luxury and purpose.
· Guide the team through all phases of the event lifecycle: ideation, planning, production, execution, and post-event analytics.
Operational Excellence & Reporting
· Build and refine operational systems for smooth planning, real-time reporting, and data-driven optimization.
· Analyze performance metrics and guest feedback to drive innovation.
· Forecast and track departmental KPIs while managing budgets with discretion and precision.
Sales, Partnerships & Business Development
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive inbound and outbound event opportunities, increasing revenue and market presence.
Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional clients to grow event bookings and client retention.
Own the events sales pipeline — from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.
Collaborate with Marketing to create compelling collateral, campaigns, and experiences that highlight Cure's unique event capabilities and value proposition.
Identify and pursue emerging market segments, proactively pitching new experiential concepts and planning services tailored to diverse client needs and industries.

Qualifications & Desired Profile
· 7–10+ years experience managing luxury, large-scale, or complex events across various industries.
· Proven track record in team, vendor, and cross-functional leadership.
· Success managing budgets, contract negotiation, and multi-event oversight.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Strong client-facing and presentation skills, plus a record of troubleshooting complex event challenges.
· Bachelor's degree in communications, hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative.
· Experience using collaborative tools like Asana, a plus.
· Familiarity with event management systems such as Cvent, Social Tables, or EMS highly desirable.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Base salary is dependent on experience with a range of $130,000- $150,000 annualized. Exemplary benefits package including employer-paid healthcare, in-house café and gym.
Please note that this is an on site position. Cure follows a Monday-Thursday in office and Friday remote policy. Hours/Days are subject to change based on event support needs.
