Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Director of Field Sales to lead our 65-member national field sales team. This role will oversee Regional Sales Managers, each managing Territory Account Managers (TAMs) who support key retail partners, including Lowe’s, Home Depot, JCPenney, and Menards. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving results while creating a culture of ownership, accountability, change, and collaboration within a field sales organization. The Director of Field Sales will grow top line growth by empowering TAMs with the data and skills to identify and action on aisle leads.
What you'll do
Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement effective field sales strategies such as Segmentation, Routing optimization and in-store excellence to achieve revenue targets across all regions
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support Regional Sales Managers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the field sales team
Aisle Management: Ensure TAMs effectively manage relationships with key accounts, including Lowe’s, Home Depot, JCPenney, and Menards, maximizing sales opportunities and customer satisfaction, leveraging technology enabled CRM tools to measure execution
Performance Management: Create and lead Sales routines, Key metric dashboards to create a Sales Performance system that motivates and aligns the sales team to achieve and exceed their regional and national goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with account management, trade marketing, and sales activation teams to align field aisle efforts with product launches, and promotions.
Market Insights: Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform field sales strategies and identify new business opportunities

Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Experience leading large teams (>20) using a data driven performance system
Preferred experience in the home center or similar industries.
Experience leveraging technology as an enabler to enhance sales strategies and execution
Proven track record of driving sales growth
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in CRM systems and sales data analysis
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
Willingness to travel as needed (30-50%) to support regional teams and client relationships
