Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Global Software Sales to lead and expand the worldwide sales of our client's turbomachinery software suite. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a global sales team and channel partners, and shaping strategic initiatives to strengthen our position in key markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical software sales, international market development, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a global software sales strategy aligned with corporate goals.
Lead, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team and network of international channel partners.
Identify and penetrate new markets while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and product management teams to align offerings with market needs.
Analyze sales metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Represent at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings globally.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for executive leadership.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of turbomachinery applications, customer challenges, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications for the Role: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10 years of relevant sales or sales leadership experience in an industrial or aerospace setting.
Strong understanding of turbomachinery, CAE software, or related engineering tools is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in leading international sales teams and channel partners.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Domestic and international travel is required.
