Title: Director of Sales and Marketing Job Type: Full-time Rockridge is a distinctive retirement community located in Northampton, MA offering Traditional and Memory Assisted Living, Residential and Rest Home services to our residents. The Director will work closely with the Executive Director and the team ensuring that our sales and marketing process is effective. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with seniors, a high degree of customer service and extensive marketing and sales experience. Responsibility Is responsible for marketing activities that will attract interest and inquiries for Rockridge accommodations. Activities normally include outreach programs to organizations and groups that who would have a potential interest in these community for themselves or their family members. Once inquiries have been received, the director conducts sales activities, including tours, luncheons, assistance with application preparation, and arranges for meetings and interviews with others as appropriate to the community. Develops marketing and sales plans and promotional and advertising materials. Recommends and works within approved budgets. Submits reports on marketing and sales activity as required. Works with new residents on move-in plans and coordinates with other Rockridge personnel as appropriate. Organizes an orientation program for new residents to familiarize them with their new surroundings and the other residents. QUALIFICATIONS & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: B.S. degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years experience in marketing and sales. Strong writing skills to develop written communications, promotional and advertising material and/or to evaluate the work of vendors. Strong verbal and presentation skills to present the community to groups and individuals.
