Overview: The Director of Sales leads the Producer team by setting an example of professionalism and excellence in serving customers and prospective customers. In this role the key to success is the ability to coach, train, mentor and develop the Producer team to achieve their goals and the company's goals. Being expert on our value proposition and sales process is a key to success, while implementing continuous improvement.
Responsibilities: Lead, manage and coach producer sales team in all aspects of selling commercial lines and risk management solutions. Effectively, with a positive approach, hold Producers accountable to reporting for pipeline, meetings and other KPI's to insure goals are achieved. Execution of sales plans and processes for accurate pipeline management and forecasts. Teach and coach a consultative selling process that focuses on customer needs by creating the right solutions. Establish top-of-funnel KPI's for the team to deliver deal flow required to attain revenue goals. Actively participate in strategies and tactics for the overall business in collaboration with producers, marketing and leadership. Manage team of sales producers to include daily interactions such as approving time, expenses, and performance reviews. Network with industry leaders and carriers to develop strong mutually beneficial relationships, including industry events and shows. SKILLS /ABILITIES: Strong organizational skills Communicate clearly and effectively. An ability to effectively lead and motivate a team with a coaching-first mentality. Develop high-level product knowledge to solution effectively. Maintain a clear understanding of the market, competitors and the industry. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business 5+ years proven sales leadership COMPENSATION/BENEFITS: Base salary: $150,000 - $175,000 OTE: $300,000 100% employer paid health premiums, dental & vision, 401k with a match, open PTO policy (4 weeks of PTO/year, not accrued)
