As a Sales Director, you will generate new business growth by acquiring and expanding enterprise clients through the sale of inbound transportation management solutions. This senior-level role is externally facing and focused on hunting - identifying, developing, and closing strategic opportunities with senior supply chain and procurement leaders across multiple industries. Acting as a consultative partner, you will design and deliver customized inbound solutions that drive measurable ROI, efficiency, and supply chain resilience. This position requires exceptional executive presence, enterprise solution-selling expertise, and the ability to consistently exceed revenue targets while expanding Odyssey's market presence.
In This Role, You Will: Deliver assigned revenue goals by securing complex, enterprise-level new logos. Develop and execute strategic go-to-market sales plans targeting Fortune 1000 companies. Build a high-value pipeline by pursuing multimillion-dollar opportunities with long sales cycles. Engage C-suite executives and senior supply chain leaders to shape strategic transportation discussions. Apply consultative solution-selling to design inbound logistics strategies that deliver ROI and efficiency. Lead the entire sales cycle from targeting to contract negotiation and close. Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and leadership to structure competitive, risk-mitigated agreements. Differentiate Odyssey by articulating its multimodal capabilities, cost optimization, and digital enablement. Identify cross-sell opportunities to expand account penetration. Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting in Salesforce CRM. Represent Odyssey as a thought leader in executive forums, workshops, and industry discussions. Share competitive insights and customer feedback to influence organizational strategy. Qualifications:

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of proven success selling enterprise inbound managed transportation solutions. Experience with SaaS/Managed TMS, procure-to-pay inbound logistics, and multimodal transportation. Strong track record of exceeding targets in enterprise, solution-based sales. Demonstrated ability to penetrate large, matrixed organizations and engage executive-level stakeholders. Skilled in designing innovative logistics strategies that deliver cost savings and resilience. Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to closing multimillion-dollar deals. Experience leading complex contract negotiations with procurement, finance, and legal stakeholders. Executive presence with exceptional relationship management skills. Proficiency in Salesforce.com, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools. Willingness to travel up to 25% for business development and client engagement. Desired: Experience as a strategic advisor to C-suite stakeholders in supply chain and procurement. Background in cross-selling multimodal logistics solutions to enterprise accounts. Prior success representing logistics providers in executive forums or thought-leadership settings.
