This Director of Sales role reports directly to the President, giving you both visibility and influence at the highest levels. Scope of Responsibility: Lead business development efforts to drive new revenue growth across all transportation and logistics services. Prospect, build pipelines, and consistently close new opportunities while meeting or exceeding annual revenue and margin goals. Apply a consultative sales approach — understanding client challenges, identifying opportunities, and crafting tailored solutions that deliver measurable results. Manage the full sales cycle from initial qualification through contract execution and customer implementation. Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, proposals, and account handovers to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction. Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to drive organic growth, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement.
Background Required: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). 5–10+ years of proven sales success in transportation, logistics, or closely related industries. Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth. Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Experience with cold chain, perishable food and/or produce is necessary. Willingness to travel up to 40%
