How You Will Create An Impact As a Director, drive value-based outcomes across Sales Effectiveness strategy within the Industrials consulting team. Develop and implement go-to-market and revenue model strategies, including customer segmentation, market prioritization, product launches, channel partnerships, customer account development, sales & marketing processes, talent strategy, sales compensation, performance management, quotas, KPIs & dashboards, and revenue operations (enablement & sales playbooks). Cultivate trusted-client relationships, source project opportunities, and develop proposals leading to revenue generation. Leverage deep sales effectiveness and go-to-market knowledge to identify client pain points and deliver tailored solutions to complex strategy engagements. Participate in proposal development and pre-sales meetings to address client needs while expanding Simon-Kucher’s footprint, offerings, and client base. Balance customer success, project profitability, and team development while incorporating client feedback. Provide exceptional client service and communication, even in challenging situations. Manage multiple engagements and project teams, coaching and developing junior team members. Lead a large team of junior consultants to develop insights and actionable recommendations using data, analytics, and research. Contribute to practice priorities, identify new business opportunities, and pursue follow-on work with existing clients. Develop and deliver new thought leadership content (white papers, case studies, frameworks) with peers and Partners worldwide. Analyze processes and tools to identify opportunities for improvement. Support recruitment and integration of new consultants. Your Profile Outstanding drive and desire to be part of a growing, top-tier consulting firm. Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred (MS, MA, MBA). Minimum 8+ years of experience in a professional services environment, with at least half in management consulting, serving Industrials or B2B. Proven success in selling and managing new and follow-on engagements. Expertise in growth strategies, go-to-market strategy, segmentation (advanced analytics), product and portfolio design, sales strategies, pricing, marketing, value proposition, and distribution/omni-channel strategies. Strong analytical skills and ability to distill insights from large data sets. Effective presentation and communication to senior audiences. Inclusive and empathetic leadership and strong interpersonal skills. Existing North America network is a plus, preferably with senior sales executives. Ability to build new thought leadership content. Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time. Compensation: The pay range for this position in New York is $215,000-$230,000/year and in California is $225,000-$240,000/year. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and business needs.
