Mobile Communications America, Inc. is seeking a strong data-driven and analytical thinking Director, Sales Operations leader with sales operations and ability to drive change to lead its newly created sales operations team within our Central division in Spartanburg, South Carolina; Charlotte, NC; or Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will enhance business growth and performance by being the objective, trusted partner to the sales leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, your responsibilities include all sales operations related processes, procedures, and activities that drive booking and revenue growth and productivity. This role serves as a partner to the sales leadership team by leading sales operations processes and initiatives aimed at increasing sales performance and productivity. You will work cross-functionally with senior leadership within Sales, Marketing, Finance/Accounting, HR, and Operations management to support sales strategy, planning, and productivity. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Facilitate the sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes for the overall sales organization. Conduct analyses to derive insights/trends that will drive business decisions and direct strategy, specifically to support national accounts, target accounts and cross-sell opportunities. Evaluate the effectiveness of the go-to-market model and identify opportunities to improve sales efficiency and effectiveness. A focus will be on data driven metrics around segmentation, target account selection and sales penetration metrics. Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth. Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports and lead the development of new reporting tools as needed. Develop assignment of sales force quotas and ensure quotas are optimally allocated. Work closely with central marketing on target account identification, impact, and assignment. Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs across the company, including commissions, promotions, and tracking. Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement and efficiencies. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Implement enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams. Monitors the assigned sales organization's compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM hygiene. Central POC for purchasing contracts by state/region/division working with sales managers. Develop and manage employees in the sales operation function. Coordinate training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel, including new hire sales onboarding, product line certifications, Salesway and sales skills training. Special Projects: we are still in fast growth mode and will have other projects pop up as the business evolves Examples include acquisition integration, training new sales members on MCA Way processes and tools, etc. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM: 10+ years' work experience in sales operations, marketing analytics & science, financial analysis, and/or sales ideally in a high-growth environment. Bachelor's degree or higher required. Highly skilled in consuming data to drive business recommendations and illustrate findings in a visual format that effectively conveys insights with context. Extensive understanding of business processes and tools to drive efficiency and growth. Exhibits superior quantitative and communication capabilities, and be able to think strategically, creatively, and tactically, working well as part of a team environment. Exhibits financial acumen and ability to quantify forecasts and sales pipeline probability. Identify business needs driving internal requests and create compelling solutions. Expertise in relevant business tools & systems administration (Excel, PowerPoint, HubSpot, NetSuite, Tableau, Value Platforms and Customer Success etc.), including strong analytical, reporting, and dashboard creation skills. Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to quickly establish trust, credibility, and influence. Experience collaborating with a geographically dispersed team in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment with an elevated level of collaboration and communication. Initiative-taker with a flexible work style, adaptable to internal and external customer requirements Previous experience with Microsoft Productivity Tools, NetSuite, WeSuite, HubSpot and Tableau preferred.
