We are seeking a motivated and experienced District Sales Leader to drive our sales team towards success and achieve our goals. In this role, you will lead a group of Territory Managers to excel in sales, enhance market penetration, and reduce customer churn. Your primary responsibilities will include: Researching, developing, and implementing comprehensive short and long-term sales plans. Coaching and mentoring Territory Managers in creating effective action plans to reach annual operating plan (AOP) and company objectives. Guiding TMs towards high-quality leads and assisting them in closing new accounts while addressing the need for a New Business Manager to help tap into high-potential accounts. Submitting and managing the annual street sales operating plan and budget, reviewing sales-related expenses, credits, donations, and contracts, and tracking performance to identify areas for improvement. Leveraging a Sales Coordinator to streamline administrative tasks and resolve TM and customer issues effectively. Coordinating product cuttings and demonstrations, while developing tailored sales and marketing proposals for our clients. Communicating vital sales data to inform product and service planning, and assisting in organizing district sales meetings with internal teams. Utilizing Sales Foundations tools and processes to expand sales and enhance customer service standards. Conducting performance assessments of TMs, implementing performance improvement plans when necessary, and providing support in territory planning and account strategies. Staying informed about industry trends and establishing relationships that lead to prospective sales. Researching potential customers and conducting targeted outreach to cultivate relationships and follow up on leads. Managing communication and execution of company policies within the sales department. Ensuring the sales team is adequately staffed and managed to reduce turnover. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field preferred. A minimum of five years in foodservice sales and at least two years of supervisory experience. Willingness to travel overnight for trainings, meetings, or company events. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Strong customer service and presentation capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Licenses: A valid driver's license is required. Candidates with a DUI conviction for drug or alcohol within the last three years will not be eligible. Other license history will be reviewed based on company standards.
