We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing, distributed team responsible for building sales planning and incentive automation solutions. In this role, you will combine hands-on engineering with people management to drive the delivery of impactful features that optimize sales processes. You will partner with product and design teams to define priorities, guide technical execution, and maintain best-in-class engineering standards. Accountabilities
Recruit, inspire, manage, and grow a team of software engineers.
Serve as both a technical lead and hands-on contributor, delivering functionality alongside mentoring responsibilities.
Design, build, and maintain user-facing components, APIs, services, and end-to-end systems.
Partner with product owners to clarify priorities, objectives, and strategic direction.
Establish and evangelize best practices, high engineering and security standards, and improve codebases and team processes.
Mentor team members through performance management, coaching, and professional development initiatives.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and ensure system uptime.
Requirements
8+ years of software development experience as an individual contributor or manager.
1+ years of engineering management experience, with hands-on technical contributions in the last 3 years.
Strong product sense to bridge engineering, design, and product priorities.
Proven track record building and shipping market-leading products from zero to one.
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Experience in a startup environment and strong orientation toward data-driven decision making.
High sense of ownership and accountability, with a growth mindset and collaborative attitude.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with Python, SaaS products, or financial modeling.
