Premier Equipment's business scope includes the sale and leasing of various construction and material-handling equipment. With the rapid growth and development of the company, we look for strong, energetic individuals to join our team to grow together with us.
The Rental/Equipment Sales Person will be responsible for working with the current and potential customers in renting and selling heavy equipment. This person must have knowledge of heavy construction equipment and be actively involved in all aspects of the rental and sales. This position will interact with the company's various departments.

*Responsibilities:*
* Manage rental and sales of heavy construction equipment
* Process rental quotes, sales quotes, rental reservations, and contracts
* Have the ability to close sales deals on various pieces of equipment.
* Coordinate and maintain repair orders if needed
* Arrange daily services between mechanics and customers
* Support all incoming phone calls
* Identify customer needs and coordinate team actions to help resolve and satisfy requests with costumer service
* Maximize revenue by advising customers on the selection, operation, and maintenance of various types of equipment
* Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery of equipment to customers
* Manage documentations
* Follow up with customers regarding payments and collect payments if needed
* Work with dealers to order parts
* Become an expert in in the equipment rental industry
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in equipment sales, construction, agriculture, or related industries preferred.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
* Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
* Ability to understand technical equipment specifications and explain them to customers in a clear, concise manner.
* Proficiency in using CRM systems (such as VOZE) to manage leads and sales pipeline.
* Familiarity with construction, landscaping, and agricultural equipment, including skid steers, loaders, attachments, and other machinery.
* Knowledge of financing options, leasing programs, and equipment warranties.
* Understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Experience with dealership management software (HBS Systems preferred) is a plus.
* Ability to leverage social media and digital platforms for lead generation and sales.
* Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Willingness to travel regionally for customer visits, trade shows, and on-site demos.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings, based on customer needs.
* Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in outdoor conditions as needed.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer objections and concerns.
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first attitude.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
