Estimator Location: Whittier, CA 90601 Job type: In-person, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday Salary range: $25/hour - $35/hour, based on experience The Inside Sales Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotations for HVAC coil products based on customer specifications. This role supports the outside sales team and collaborates closely with engineering, production, and customer service to ensure smooth handoff of information and high customer satisfaction. A solid understanding of coil products HVAC applications, and the ability to interpret technical drawings is essential. Responsibilities: · Review customer inquiries, specifications, and drawings to prepare accurate quotes for HVAC coils. · Utilize coil selection and pricing software to size and configure products according to project requirements. · Communicate with engineering to verify special designs and special feasibility. · Execute field work in line with customer requirements, sizing's, and measuring of equipment. · Coordinate with customer service and production to confirm pricing, lead times, and capacity. · Support the outside sales team with quote follow-up clarifications, and documentation. · Maintain accurate quote records and track status of open opportunities. · Respond to customer requests for information in a professional and timely manner. · Assist with other administrative or sales support tasks as needed. Requirements: · 2+ years of experience in estimating, quoting, or inside sales support. Ideally in HVAC or manufacturing. · Experience in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications. · Experience in QuickBooks preferred. · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. · Effective written and verbal communication abilities. · Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
