Job Function:
The FCS Inside Sales Representative is responsible for expanding and managing accounts through proactive prospecting and relationship building. They create quotations, support field sales, and develop accounts for cross-selling. By qualifying leads and needs, they drive sales conversions and maintain CRM records. Collaborating with Field Sales Engineers ensures effective customer communication, while quarterly visits enhance market presence. This role combines sales skills with proactive commitment to drive growth and satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Objectives:
Proactively Manage and Support Accounts : Coordinate with the regional manager to manage and nurture existing accounts while actively seeking opportunities for expansion via external and internal communication channels
Quotation Creation and Negotiations : Generate detailed quotations based on customer requirements and engage in negotiations to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations
Comprehensive Account Research : Conduct thorough research of accounts to uncover cross-selling opportunities and understand market dynamics, enabling strategic recommendations to enhance client engagement
Support Field Sales Team : Assist the field sales team under the supervision of the regional manager by providing strategic account management and insights, especially in remote sales areas
Needs Assessment and Qualification : Engage with customers to identify and qualify their needs and requirements, ensuring that solutions are tailored to their specific challenges and objectives
Identify and Create New Sales Opportunities : Actively prospect and generate new sales leads through effective follow-up and engagement strategies leveraging lead capture tools and techniques
Strategic Account Development : Research accounts and identify key contacts for targeted sales and marketing actions, aimed at enhancing Staubli's presence and market penetration in the regional market lines
Collaborative Field Sales Relationship Maintenance : Maintain a dynamic and active relationship with Field Sales Engineers, facilitating seamless customer communication, managing action item lists, and participating in conference calls
Lead Response and Qualification : Respond to and thoroughly qualify web and telephone inquiries to pave the way for meaningful sales engagements and conversions
CRM Data Management : Ensure accurate CRM data entry and management for all sales-related activities to maintain up-to-date records and insights for strategic planning
Project Status Monitoring : Update and continuously monitor the status and progress of projects within assigned areas to ensure alignment and timely execution
Customer Engagement : Conduct possible quarterly customer visits to strengthen relationships and gather firsthand insights into customer needs and market trends
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business/International Business and/or 3+ years of Inside Sales experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Must have the communication skills required to deal with engineering, maintenance, purchasing and small business owners

Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Work schedule:
This position will report to the Duncan, SC office with flexible (hybrid) schedule after completion of 90 day training program
Salary:
$63,500 - $70,000
