As a Field Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in cultivating client relationships and facilitating business growth. This role focuses on nurturing existing accounts and pursuing new business opportunities powered by your passion and performance!
Your Key Responsibilities as a Field Sales Manager:
Champion Customer Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with customers in a team-oriented environment. Educate clients on ordering platforms, offer menu consultations, propose product recommendations, and create pricing strategies to support their success.
Achieve Sales Goals: Your performance will be evaluated based on sales to clients, growth in case volume, and acquisition of new accounts. Utilize impactful sales presentations and adapt your sales strategy to meet the unique needs of each customer. Strong time and territory management is essential.
Collaborative Selling: Partner with our Specialists to tap into top market opportunities and assist with onboarding new accounts. Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
Insight-Driven Development: Identify prospective customers using market intelligence databases and business directories. Follow leads from current clients, engage with organizations and clubs, and participate in trade shows and conferences.
Delivery Management: Ensure adherence to the transportation department's routing schedule and address any delivery challenges (e.g., missed picks, loading shortfalls, stock shortages).
Market Expertise: Stay informed about market trends, product innovations, and competitive products and pricing, sharing valuable insights with customers as part of our comprehensive service offerings.
Proactive Engagement: Utilize your personal vehicle to conduct regular customer visits, ensuring satisfaction through continuous follow-up and engagement.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
You will primarily work outside the office, visiting customers in various weather and temperature conditions within your assigned territory.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of sales experience is preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver's license is necessary, and your motor vehicle record must be in good standing.
Experience in the foodservice industry, culinary arts, restaurant management, or hospitality is preferred.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
Ability to establish relationships both internally and externally, and proactively cold call to develop business.
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
A competitive spirit with a determination to exceed sales goals.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
Capability to occasionally lift or carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs.
