Fine Wine Specialist (Corporate Sales)

Description: Effectively interact with Divisional Vice Presidents, Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to ensure depletion and distribution goals are attained, on all major initiatives in the division; while educating and lead selling in top fine wine accounts.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead sell in top fine wine accounts, independently and with the assigned Sales Rep and Sales Manager
Enhance learning and development capacities of the sales force
Dissemination of all accolades, scores, Shelf P.O.S. & programs
Plan and execute customer activation events, luncheons and dinners
Execute consumer tasting and educational events
Responsible for organizational achievement of goals in the Fine Wine accounts and personal accountability to the lead sell accounts that will revolve each year
Weekly one- on-one reviews with each Sales Manager
Ability to recognize and define opportunities in market and plan out monthly sales objectives to maximize those objectives
Attend Sales Managers Mid-Month meetings
Requirements: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organizational & Time Management skills
Ability to develop strong working relationships internally and externally.
Must exercise good judgment, initiative and sound problem-solving skills.
Detail oriented, organized, highly accurate.
Education/Experience/Training:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3 to 5 years in Sales Management in the industry.
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
Physical Demands and Environment:
Work performed requires or no measurable physical exertion, may be required to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds
Work requires frequent standing or walking throughout the work day
Work requires a significant level of mental concentration required to manage multiple complex tasks requiring continual mental and visual focus
Work requires travel and exposure to weather conditions while visiting customers, prospects or vendors
Potential for accidents due to over the road travel including traffic accidents, delivery of goods or the set up of displays
