Guests come for our legendary service and well-appointed accommodations and then return for our exciting seasonal activations and ever-evolving food and beverage offerings.About the roleFour Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking a Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will pursue and evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability. The Group Sales Manager will follow-up on all leads, maintain good relationships and generate group, travel and individual leads for the Worldwide Sales Offices and other Four Seasons Hotels. The Group Sales Manager contacts customers in-house to promote good will and foster additional business, repeat bookings or referrals to other Four Seasons Hotels.What you bringWe are looking for a team player individual who has solid selling and interpersonal skills, demonstrates the energy and commitment to meet and exceed personal goals, and is a good fit for our dynamic and fun-loving sales team. This role is focused on the Entertainment Market, including Bands on Tour, Production, and West Coast Territory. The applicant will have a proven track record in pursuing, evaluating, soliciting, selling, contracting and confirming business as required in order to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.Applicants are required to have three years previous experience in a similar role. Contacts in the industry are a plus. A college degree preferably specializing in hotel management or business administration, or equivalent experience is also required. The Group Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales.This position requires authorization to work in the United States and is a non-remote role.
