ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Head of Sales, Marketing Agencies/Media Buying - US (m/f/d) to own our go-to-market strategy for a high-volume, high-potential customer segment. Youll focus on building relationships with marketing agencies, media buyers, digital performance advertisers, and SaaS companies that manage recurring campaign spend or customer acquisition budgets at scale.

Your goal is to grow a repeatable and scalable commercial motion across this space, where Pliants flexible credit, spend control, and automation provide a massive edge. You will play a critical role in tailoring our value proposition to marketing-centric teams that are budget-sensitive, fast-moving, and looking to streamline financial workflows.

This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role. Youll report directly into GTM leadership and work cross-functionally to influence roadmap and messaging for one of our fastest-growing verticals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own GTM for the Vertical: Define the playbook to acquire and grow U.S.-based marketing agencies and SaaS companies with high media or infrastructure spend.
  • Segment Prioritization: Identify sub-segments (e.g., performance marketing shops, creative agencies, bootstrapped SaaS) where credit-based spend management delivers tangible ROI.
  • Sales Execution: Lead sales cycles from outbound prospecting to closing, working across multiple decision-makers including Finance, Founders, Ops, and Account Directors.
  • Hiring & Team Growth: Build a vertical-focused team of AEs and SDRs. Coach and manage pipeline performance to meet revenue goals.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Growth, RevOps, and Product to localize messaging, lead scoring, onboarding experience, and integration needs for this audience.
  • Use Case Development: Shape industry-specific case studies and battlecards to reinforce Pliants value against legacy credit cards, banks, or fragmented tooling.
  • Community Building: Establish Pliant as a recognizable partner in the marketing/agency ecosystem via events, media networks, and referral partnerships.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 8+ years in B2B sales with deep experience selling into marketing, advertising, or SaaS clients.
  • A strong, active network in the U.S. agency or SaaS community, with existing relationships you can tap into from day one.
  • Firsthand knowledge of how marketing teams manage budgets, media spend, client billing, and SaaS tool chains.
  • Familiarity with the agency/client commercial model, including short payment cycles and cash flow dependencies.
  • Experience working with CFOs, Heads of Ops, and client-facing Account Directors.
  • Ability to design and execute a structured sales strategy across a fragmented customer base.
  • Experience building sales teams and processes from the ground up in a fast-growth environment.
  • Confidence navigating CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and reporting tools.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, ownership mindset, and fluent English (spoken and written) are essential.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives
  • An influential role shaping U.S. market growth at an international fintech
  • Opportunities for professional growth and ownership from day one
  • A remote-friendly environment with support for work-life flexibility
  • Health, wellness, and retirement benefits
  • Access to a diverse and ambitious team driven by impact, innovation, and transparency
