The ideal candidate brings 5 years of proven sales experience and is a results-driven professional, with a solid understanding of HVAC/mechanical systems and the confidence to speak with facility stakeholders about their operational needs. This role offers significant earning potential through an attractive commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (40%)
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet monthly and annual targets
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and service agreements
Client Relationship Management (25%)
Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers and facility managers
Conduct site visits and client meetings to assess needs and recommend solutions
Serve as the main point of contact from initial interest through signed agreement
Technical Consultation (20%)
Leverage knowledge of HVAC systems and building operations to design service plans
Stay current on industry technologies and trends to communicate value effectively
Collaborate with internal engineering and service teams to scope and validate offerings
Internal Collaboration & Coordination (10%)
Partner with project managers, technicians, and admin teams to align execution with client expectations
Participate in team sales meetings and cross-department planning efforts
Reporting & CRM Management (5%)
Maintain accurate customer records, pipeline activity, and sales progress in CRM
Provide regular forecasting and market feedback to leadership
What We're Looking For:
Education/Training: Any relevant degree, or industry-recognized certification, and/or relevant HVAC experience will be considered .
Experience & Credentials: 5+ years of experience in sales, ideally in mechanical/HVAC service or building systems.
Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of HVAC/mechanical systems, controls, or related mechanical services and the confidence to speak with facility stakeholders about their operational needs.
Problem-Solving Skills: A passion for solving problems and delivering value makes you a trusted resource for clients and a key player on our team.
Communication Skills: Ability to balance relationship-building with strategic sales discipline and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
