What you’ll do Own the customer journey and keep the schedule full. Lead management & booking: Answer inbound calls/web leads, make timely outbound follow-ups, qualify jobs, and convert inquiries into scheduled appointments. Dispatch & schedule control: Build efficient routes for Service Professionals, manage same-day changes, and keep customers updated on ETAs. Set expectations & recommend solutions: Guide customers through scope, pricing ranges, timing, and prep steps; confidently offer add-on services when appropriate. Customer delight: Follow The Mr. Handyman Way to deliver a consistent, WOW experience—before, during, and after each visit. Quality & documentation: Maintain accurate notes, update work orders, and capture before/after photos when available. Reputation & retention: Request reviews, handle light service recovery, and nurture repeat business and referrals. Light marketing & social media: Publish short posts (2–4/week) showcasing jobs, tips, promos, and team highlights. Engage with comments/DMs, share customer testimonials, and coordinate simple boosted posts/ads with the owner. Keep a simple monthly content calendar; use basic tools (e.g., Canva, Facebook/Instagram, Google Business Profile). Key outcomes you’ll drive High booking rate on qualified leads Strong schedule utilization and on-time dispatch 5-star reviews/CSAT and repeat customers What you bring Highly organized & detail-oriented ; thrive in a fast, changing schedule. Exceptional phone and written communication ; friendly, confident, and clear. Sales mindset: comfortable recommending services and asking for the booking. Problem solver & self-starter who takes ownership and follows through. Tech-comfortable: Microsoft Office/Excel; quick to learn CRM/dispatch tools. Basic social/media chops: posting, captions, light image edits, simple boosts. Local to the area and able to work on-site. Able to pass a background check . Nice to have (not required): experience with home-service scheduling/dispatch, Housecall Pro/ServiceTitan (or similar), Canva/Hootsuite/Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, or basic ad boosting.
