Palmer Industries, an independent metal furniture manufacturer, is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Employee to join our intimate team. Our products are of the highest quality, appeal to the architectural and designer markets, and are sold through a national network of upscale bath and kitchen dealers, as well as directly to the designer and hospitality segments. As a member of our team, you will play an essential role in building relationships, resolving issues, and increasing overall trust and satisfaction within our network.

Responsibilities for this position include possessing thorough expertise and in-depth knowledge of our technical subject matter, products, and services, processing sales, corresponding with sales administration and technical teams, providing general phone support, and performing work order reviews of projects before entering production.

Candidates should possess a high level of motivation, versatile skill set, mechanical aptitude, general knowledge of house construction, and desirable social skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and detail-oriented work habits, mechanical/technical background, and aptitude necessary to master our various product lines are also required. Additionally, candidates should be able to work well in a team environment, self-check and perform accurate work, multi-task willingly, and maintain a rational demeanor.

Qualifications include a bachelor's or associate's degree (preferred), proficiency with Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills a plus), familiarity with ERP systems, and previous CAD or interior design experience.

Compensation based on experience.
