Essential duties & responsibilities include:Managing the sales effort(s) and sales orders via Oracle and JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systemDeveloping stocking programsMaximizing on-time delivery performance and customer satisfactionManaging projects as needed to improve the profitability of the companyInitiating credit requestsHandling calls and customer service issuesAssisting in developing stocking programsOther duties as assignedSpecific qualifications and requirements include:College degree (2-year or 4-year degree) or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrevious Oracle and JDR software experience is preferred, but not requiredPrevious customer service experience, including an understanding of manufacturing and purchasing lead times, is preferredAbility to read prints and interpret drawingsAbility to multitask and analyze quicklyAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong mathematical skillsStrong conflict resolution skillsPhysical Demand: Associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for a full 8-hour day.Periodical travel requiredWork Environment: 100% manufacturing settingMachines have pinch points, fast moving parts and protruding parts, which present themselves as a potential injury.
