Inside Sales Development Representative
Position Overview
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for engaging with DeHart Recycling Equipment’s existing customers, generating new sales opportunities for equipment, parts, and service, and maintaining accurate customer data in the CRM system. This role requires a proactive communicator who thrives in a team environment and is committed to building strong customer relationships that align with our mission of delivering exceptional recycling equipment solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement
Proactively contact existing customers to identify equipment, parts, and service needs.
Build and maintain long-term relationships through consistent follow-ups, product education, and service reminders.
Lead Development
Research and identify new sales opportunities in the recycling and waste management industry.
Qualify prospects via phone, email, and other channels to generate high-quality leads for the sales team.
Partner with marketing to execute targeted outreach campaigns
CRM Management
Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records, opportunities, and activity logs in the CRM.
Track and report on lead generation, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with sales, service, and parts departments to coordinate orders, schedule service, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Share customer insights to help improve products, services, and processes.
Assist with preparing quotes, proposals, and order documentation.
QualificationsExperience
2+ years in inside sales, sales development, or customer service (experience in industrial equipment or manufacturing is a plus).
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging customers in needs-based conversations.
Other
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset.
Knowledge of recycling, waste management, or industrial equipment preferred but not required.
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites as needed.
