The Inside Sales Manager, in cooperation with the account sales leader, is responsible for growing business with assigned strategic customers by effectively initiating, developing, planning, and managing customer projects to ensure they are completed within the customers defined timelines.
Job Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
Responsible for leading end-to-end sourcing initiatives by negotiating supplier agreements, estimating project costs, and managing procurement activities to ensure timely, cost effective, and highly quality delivery of goods.
Collaborate with key stakeholders including the project coordinators to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Work closely and cooperatively with the sales leader for that account.
Estimate resources needed to reach defined objectives.
Ensure comprehensive communications between the sales leader, the customer, external suppliers, and K1's internal team.
Develop and manage a project schedule, work plan with clearly defined critical milestones and dates and communicate this schedule to key stakeholders.
Provide regular project status updates and reports to key stakeholders.
Ensure customers understand K1's processes and secure signoff on critical milestones.
Utilize best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.
Identify opportunities to expand wallet share within existing accounts and collaborate with sales leaders to close deals.
Initiate new project concepts and ideas for customers to drive customer value and grow wallet share.
Maintain and input deals via Pipedrive.
Skills/ Qualifications Ability to think creatively and solve problems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Develop and test new ideas quickly.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Excellent oral and written communication (Bilingual a plus) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge applicable to the job (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point, Internet, email), as well as proficiency in the use of in-house programs and applications.
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of project management, packaging design/development or related experience.
Any combination of experience, education, and training-- that will provide the level of knowledge, skills, and experience needed to successfully perform the job.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions Sitting: Majority of the time will be spent sitting at a desk while working on a computer or handling paperwork. Sitting is required for extended periods (e.g., "Must be able to sit for long periods, typically 6-8 hours per day").
Standing and Walking: Periodic standing and walking may be required (e.g., "Occasional standing and walking within the office to access files, office equipment, or attend meetings").
Lifting and Carrying: Light lifting may be necessary (e.g., "Must be able to lift and carry office supplies or documents weighing up to 20 pounds").
Reaching, Bending, and Stooping: Describe any occasional reaching or bending (e.g., "Frequent reaching above and below shoulder level to access files or office supplies; occasional bending and stooping to retrieve items from lower drawers or cabinets").
Manual Dexterity: Fine motor skills for handling paperwork, using a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment (e.g., "Frequent use of hands for data entry, typing, and operating office equipment such as printers and copiers").
Visual Demands: Requirements for reading and computer work (e.g., "Must have sufficient visual acuity to read documents, spreadsheets, and emails on a computer screen for extended periods").
Hearing and Speech: Communication abilities needed (e.g., "Ability to hear and understand conversations in person or over the phone; clear speech to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients").
