Our client is a regional leader in the freight/trucking space. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team in the fast-paced freight and trucking industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales and will be responsible for managing and coaching a team of inside sales representatives to achieve revenue and growth targets. Fantastic opportunity to come in as a working manager and build the Inside Sales function.

Lead, train, and motivate a team of inside sales representatives focused on B2B sales within the freight/trucking sector.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Monitor team performance through KPIs, pipeline reviews, and daily call metrics.
Foster a high-performance culture through regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
Collaborate with marketing and operations to optimize lead generation and customer onboarding processes.
Use CRM tools to track sales activity, pipeline development, and customer data.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and customer service standards.
Work closely with logistics and dispatch teams to ensure smooth execution of client shipments.
Represent the company professionally and ethically in all customer interactions.
What you need to succeed: Bachelor's in Business or Supply Chain/Logistics preferred
3-5+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably within the freight, logistics, or transportation industry.
1-3+ years of experience in a sales leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of freight services, including FTL, LTL, intermodal, and last-mile delivery.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
