Job Description:
As an eCommerce Inside Sales Representative, you will prospect lead, foster client relationships, and close converted or new business. In this role you will play an instrumental part in the launch of Pitney Bowes SendTech digital shipping solutions team as the driving force behind the full sales cycle of our SaaS products.
Your success will have a direct impact on the growth of our fast-growing software business and play a key role in driving customer adoption and revenue. You are fueled by the prospect of proactively engaging with prospective customers to identify value for their business and seamlessly migrate them to our platform.
You are:
A dynamic seller who enjoys every aspect of a growth role from lead generation to close
An individual who enjoys partnering and collaborating with cross functional teams
Continually learning and developing as an Account Executive in the Technology space
You Will
Own the ‘top’ of the sales funnel by leveraging various tools (e.g., LinkedIn) to identify eCommerce prospects and qualify leads for our digital shipping solutions
Oversee the full sales cycle (i.e., from lead generation to closing) for the SMB portfolio
Generate leads across larger eCommerce businesses and collaborate with Account Managers driving them to close
Maintain active engagement with prospects across multiple channels (e.g., phone, email, social media, etc.)
Become an industry expert in eCommerce for global and domestic logistics, as well as a product expert that can identify and resolve inefficiencies and pain points in customer workflows
Prepare and execute sales strategies to ensure conversions and adoption
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our software products and identify new opportunities for company growth based on customer feedback
Think critically about sales data and recommend new and scalable strategies
Build relationships with decision makers at all levels across a diverse set of industries
Use Salesforce and other sales tools to manage all lead data upholding integrity of information
Prospect and generate leads through our database of prospects and build a pipeline of new prospects utilizing sales tactics
Engage with outbound / inbound prospects to promote SendTech’s benefits, technology, and services
You Have
A history of WINNING as a hunter of high-value opportunities, primarily acquiring your leads via outbound calling, and emailing
Found success in environments that requires a high level of self-reliance
A strong focus on consistent execution
A mastery of strategic selling techniques to identify client needs and promote Pitney Bowes services
A strong and proven understand of eCommerce, shipping, and SaaS products
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred education and/or experience:
Experience selling SaaS solutions
Proficiency with Salesforce
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience to match)
Compensation:
The wage range for this position is $22 to $28 / hr, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job. This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive compensation plan earning up to $25,000 OTI.
Location:
Remote, continental US. West Coast coverage preferred. This location status may change based on business need.
