About the Role:
Thermon is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. In coordination with the Manager of Sales, this role is responsible for driving sales of Thermon's process heating products-including heat tracing materials, immersion heaters, catalytic heaters, Powerblankets, environmental heaters, and tubing bundle products. The ideal candidate will focus on building new customer accounts, nurturing client relationships, and expanding Thermon's presence across underserved markets in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential clients using market tools and insights (assigned territory LA, MS, and AR).
Analyze regional trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
Conduct outbound outreach (calls/emails) to introduce Thermon's solutions.
Follow up on leads and inquiries to drive engagement and conversion.
Communicate Thermon's value proposition and handle objections confidently.
Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet/exceed quarterly revenue goals.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements.
Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize customer value.
Deliver virtual presentations and proposals.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and prepare sales reports.
Generate leads for turnkey services and coordinate handoffs to the Sales Manager.
Any other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
1-2 years of experience in B2B inside sales, preferably in industrial or technical products.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
Additional Information:
This is a temp-to-hire position.
This role is onsite at our Baton Rouge, LA office.
Candidates must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Travel is not required, but knowledge of the assigned territory (LA, MS, AR) is beneficial.
