Summary Description This position is responsible for managing and tracking project quotes from inception to completion. As an Inside Sales professional, this individual will generate revenue by creating and qualifying leads and opportunities and owning the complete life cycle post quote. This professional will be responsible for data accuracy and completeness in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. An Inside Sales Representative will support the sales team by driving pipeline growth and visibility, and excellence in communication with customers. This role is integral to ensuring that all opportunities are accurately recorded, followed through in the CRM, and communicated with both internal teams and external stakeholders. The role will also help advance KINA’s forecasting capabilities through our CRM Microsoft Dynamics platform by following best practices to maximize the CRM’s value and ensure the data integrity. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Essential Duties Essential duties should be interpreted to be descriptive in nature. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment. Support Outside Sales Teams by calling on specified accounts and industry professionals, building relationships, and maintaining regular communication. Generate new leads through platforms such as Construct Connect and other industry-specific search engines. Qualify, maintain and nurture leads throughout the sales process, ensuring consistent follow-ups and engagement. Follow up on quoted jobs within our CRM Microsoft Dynamics system to determine the status—win/loss updates, expected start dates, and any changes in scope. Keep sales data up to date to provide accurate forecasting and insights for the team. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff of information and support the overall sales strategy. Work closely with the technical department and estimating team members on quote hand off to ensure all quotes are accurately logged into CRM. Identify the relevant stakeholders and track the opportunities in CRM to the correct owner; set dates accordingly. Foster strong working relationships with accounts to set up meetings to go over open opportunities and understand the upcoming jobs. Post calls communicate with relevant purchasing, production, and logistics teams for upcoming orders to make sure stock position is in line
Manage and update CRM quotes so win dates are accurately portrayed in the forecast each month Collaborates with professionals from other departments to identify improvements to product offerings, sales education, marketing strategies and other business-related topics Work with the CRM Team Lead to help develop a robust set of high impact dashboards for the CRM that will increase the motivation, performance and connection the sales team has with the CRM. Works with team members to improve data hygiene, user management, data imports/exports, and other day-to-day CRM database related matters. Act as a member of the Customer Experience (CX) Team for KINA. Analyze account sales to identify trends and up-selling opportunities. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Education and/or Experience: Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university plus 3-4 years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the above knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience with a CRM system such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce and an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system such as SAP preferred. Experience in the construction / building materials industry highly preferred. Must have: Proficiency with computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to problem solve and deal with people at multiple organizational levels both inside and outside the site Strong analytical capability – understands how to graphically represent data in the clearest possible way. Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task. Positive attitude. Must be able to: Work independently and with little supervision. Set and manage multiple priorities. Follow directions and be a team player. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate orally and written in English. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures by using basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide). Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
